Lady Sue and Karen Lemmons attended the NCNA Nurses Day at the Legislature March 26, 2025. They had the opportunity to speak with Rep. Cunningham and thanked her for sponsoring our bill. They  also saw Sen. Adcock, who may be instrumental in sponsoring our bill in the Senate. They spoke with Tina Gorden and Alix from NCNA and Tina was hopeful that our bill should be read in a couple of weeks in the Health committee. We spoke to Patrick Balentine, the NCNA lobbyist and he sounded very hopeful that our bill will pass. It was a good day with over 600 nurses and nursing students.
